ELEGANCE CADILLAC 2015 FLAGSHIP SEDAN

General Motors' luxury 2015 sedan Cadillac, continues to charge ahead with a steady roll out of updated and new models. As for the 2015 Cadillac ATS sedan, it returns with slight revisions to the front end,  with Wi-Fi connectivity, the latest OnStar telematics featuring a 4G connection and updated CUE infotainment system text-messaging capability, and option updates including the addition of lane-keep assist to the Driver Awareness package. In addition to the turbocharged 4-cylinder and V-6, the ATS sedan is offered with a 202-horsepower 2.5-liter engine.

In addition, Leone revealed Cadillac is also planning to introduce a redesigned SRX SUV and confirmed the launch of the ATS-V in 2015. "This is going to be a fantastic year for Cadillac," he said.

There’s no word as to when the flagship Caddy will be unveiled, but recent reports have hinted toward a New York Auto Show debut in April 2015. Both the luxury sedan and the revamped SRX will be among the first models to be launched with Johan de Nysschen, previously in charge of the Infiniti brand, as president.

Mostly known for large and luxurious vehicles, such as the Eldorado and the De Ville, Cadillac has lagged in that department since the latter was discontinued in 2005. Sure, the XTS has proudly carried the company’s full-size flag since 2013, but Cadillac needs something bigger and better to compete against the big-boys from Germany. The new flagship might be able to do just that, provided it comes with an unprecedented amount of convenience and safety features, and a powerful V-8 engine.Reportedly dubbed LTS, the new Cadillac flagship sedan is expected to borrow certain styling cues from the Elmiraj Coupe Concept we saw at the 2013 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance.

The stunning coupe carries an awe-inspiring design inside and out. The body is highlighted by a huge front grille flanked by extremely thin, vertical headlamps, while the rear boasts a similar design with skinny taillights running from the C-pillar down toward the bumper. Aggressive and stylish at the same time, the Elmiraj is definitely a study Cadillac needs to consider while designing the LTS. Fortunately, Cadillac has plenty of time to iron out all of the details before the LTS’ debut, as the NYIAS doesn’t kick off until April 2015.
